Reinventing the SunSentinel



This is an idea for a self supporting recipe page for the food section. Because it generates revenue, the space supports itself while giving added utility to the reader. It works like this.

All the recipes from the section are collected together. (There may also be stand alone recipes.) Each recipe is formatted to a 4 x 6 recipe card size. It could look something like this:


Sponsorship may be sold for the page. In this case it's Publix grocery stores.

The back page has ads that correspond to the same grid as the recipes, so that each recipe has an ad on the back when it's cut out - ads with shelf life. The back page looks like this:


The grid allows for a strip ad at the top.
